BBQ Chicken Sliders Recipe

Want to know my secret for a fun get-together with my friends? Sliders! When you’re having a party, you want to be able to serve delicious food to your guests, but if you’re like me, you also want to be able to enjoy the time with them too. That’s why I love these BBQ Chicken Sliders.

After all, no one wants to spend the whole time in the kitchen, when they could be hanging out with their friends and family. Shredded chicken with BBQ sauce and melted Provolone cheese – delicious! These chicken sandwiches are sure to bring a smile to people’s faces and yet, they won’t even realize just how easy they were to make!

BBQ Chicken Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 8 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 8 slices smoked provolone cheese
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. 

Place the bottom of the slider buns in the casserole dish. Spread ¼ cup of the bbq sauce out over the bottom half of the rolls.

Mix the remainder of the bbq sauce together with the chicken.

Scoop the chicken onto the slider buns.

Top with cheese slices, and then the top of the rolls.

Melt butter and mix in garlic powder and dried parsley.

Pour this over the top of the rolls and brush it over the rolls to spread out evenly.

Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes.

Serve with additional bbq sauce, if desired.
