Beef Taco Sliders Recipe

Tacos plus sliders. What could be better than that? They are both some of my family’s favourite meals and are ideal for parties too. So, combining them into this one special Beef Taco Sliders Recipe was a natural.

These taco sliders are delicious, but they are also incredibly easy to make. Serve as an appetizer or snack, or add a salad and you’ve got a full meal. Put out a selection of toppings and let everyone build their own tasty sandwiches, customized to their own preferences.

Beef Taco Sliders Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 package of slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices Pepperjack cheese
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
  • Optional toppings: guacamole, chopped tomatoes, green onions, sour cream

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Brown ground beef on stove top. Drain excess grease. Add in taco seasoning and water. Stir and heat until thickened.

Cut the tops off of the slider buns and set aside.

Spray a 9×13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray, and then place the bottom halves of the buns in the casserole dish.

Spread the taco meat over the buns and then top that with shredded cheese and cheese slices.

Replace the tops of the slider buns over the cheese.

Melt butter and mix in garlic powder and cilantro.

Pour this over the top of the rolls and brush it over the rolls to spread out evenly.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until tops of the buns are lightly golden.
