We’re highlighting Calgary summer camps offered by some of our favourite Calgary Birthday Party venues. Take the fun you had at your last birthday party and extend it into summer camp!

Calgary Summer Camps Offered by Birthday Party Venues
4 Cats Art Studio – 4 Cats runs summer camps at all of their studios in Calgary. You have the choice between mornings, afternoons or full days. Camps are $239 for 5 half days or $399 for 5 full days. Check out the specific calendars for each location: Inglewood, Edgedale, Evanston, Killarney, and Montgomery(for this location, choose “PD Day and Camps”)
5 Elements Martial Arts – Camps feature martial arts basics, coordination and agility drills, karate games and obstacle courses, board breaking, self-defense, weapons, anti-bullying strategy, arts and crafts, and sushi making – and a Wednesday all-day field trip to Calgary’s Chinatown. Camps run 9 am – 3 pm with before and after care available. Registration is available for Full Week ($295 + GST), Single Day ($75 + GST) and 1/2 Day ($40 + GST).
Absolute Baseball – Absolute Baseball offers a week-long camp that focuses on the development of baseball fundamentals, as well as position specific instruction. The camp is for ages 8-13 and runs from 8:30 am-noon for $250 + GST.
Absolute Dance – Absolute Dance offers two half-day dance camps for ages 3-6 and one full-day dance camp for ages 6-10 Monday through Friday, August 12th – 16th.
Altadore Gymnastics Club – Half-day camps are open to kids 3 & up starting at $185 for a full week. Full day camps are for kids 6 & up and start at $290 for a full week. Each week’s camp has a different theme (see website for details).
ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen – Choose from Across the Oceans: Eating Around the World, Back to Basics: Mastering Kitchen Skills, and Farm to Table cooking camps starting at $55o for the week.
Breathe Parkour – Summer camps are offered in the South Calgary Location and the North Calgary Location for ages 6-13. Camps are $325 for a one week camp or $600 for two camps. Camps include theme days and before/after care availability.
Bricks4Kids Summer Camps – Full week, half-day summer camps all about LEGO. Choose from Building Camps (ages 5-12) or Technology Camps (ages 7+). Choose from 16 themes across 12 Calgary locations (includes Video Game Design…how fun is THAT?). Pricing is around $175 – $200 for a 5-day camp.
Brite Studios – “Triple Threat” Dance ∙ Sing ∙ Act summer camps available on July 23-27 & August 13-17, 2018. Camps are for kids 4-12 years old and start at $150 for half-day camps and $275 for full-day camps.
Butterfield Acres – Butterfield Acres offers camps for kids from age 3-14 with the younger kids going half days while the older kids go full days. Prices range from $148 – $360 for a full week. Lunch, snacks and before/after care can all be added as options. Kids get to interact with farm animals and learn all about life on the farm.
Calgary Gymnastics Centre – Offering camps at both their West Location and their North Location. Offering pre-school, KinderCare and recreation camps both full and half days. Prices and dates can be found on the location specific links.
Calgary Humane Society – Camps are available for kids entering Grades 1-9 in the Fall with various themes depending on their age. Camps run from 9-4 and with before and after care (8:30-5) included in your registration. Pricing for Grades 1-6 is $225 for a full (5 day) week and Grades 7-9is $298 for a full (5 day) week.
Calgary Zoo – The Calgary Zoo offers summer day camps for kids entering grades 1-9 in the Fall. Camps run from 8:30 am to 4 pm and start at $285 for a week-long, full-day program. Options include both art camps and zoo animal camps.
Chinook School of Music – Summer day camps are offered for kids ages 3 – 12. Pricing is $235 for half day camp or $375 when registering for a full-day when combining Pop Singing & Ukulele + Musical Theatre (includes supervised lunch break). Before and after care can be added.
City of Calgary – The City of Calgary offers a plethora of day camp options across the city for kids ages 3-17 on a daily and weekly basis. Options include arts, golf, nature, sailing, sports and more. Most offer pre-and post care for an additional fee.
Dance with France – Camps are offered in two levels based on age and dance experience. All abilities are welcome. The camps allow kids to try many different disciplines of dance which can help a new student choose their favorites and returning students get back into shape for the fall. Weeklong, full-day camps are $179 if booked before May 1 and $209 after.
Decidedly Jazz – Day camps are offered for kids age 4-13+. There are full day and half day options. Book before June 15th to get 5-day, full-day camps for $275 ($300 after). Options include Hip Hop, World Dance, Boys Only, Fine Arts, Child Dance and more. You must buy an Individual ($20) or family ($25) membership before enrolling in camp.
Engineering for Kids – Camps are available for kids ages 4-15 for mornings, afternoons or full day. Themes include claymation, robotics, video game design, Ozbot, coding and more.
FitKids – Choose between Science, Sports, Bike and Hero themes and more. Full-day programs start for $425 for 5 days. Half-day programs start at $199 (9 am – 12 pm)
Flip Factory – Offering half day and full day camps. Save 20% on your second child and 15% on your third child when you sign up for a full week summer camp before May 31 (some exclusions apply). They also have Circus School Camps! Before and after care is available from 7:30 am to 5 pm.
Granary Road – Granary road camps run from 9 am – 4 pm daily. You can choose from Entymologists, Growers, Zoologists or Environmentalists camps for $299 plus GST.
Heritage Park – Heritage Park is in the midst of switching their website. I’ve included a link to their Beta site but if it gacks, try their regular one. When I checked, the normal one didn’t have summer camp info but the Beta site did. Heritage Park offers 3 day-camp options: History Hunters (ages 6 – 8), Time Travellers (8 – 10) and
Science, Technology, Energy, and More (STEAM) (ages 9 – 12). They also offer Home on the Range overnight camp for $575 for the week. Day camps start at $285 and before and after care is available for an additional charge.
Horsin Around – Horsin Around offers both pony camps (ages 4-7) and horse camps (ages 7-14). Pony camp runs from 9 am-noon and is $262.50 for 5 days. Horse camp runs from 9 am – 5 pm and is $446.25.
Injanation – Injanation Summer Day camps focus on creativity and active play. You can book a weeklong camp ($325) or attend for just one day ($89). Camps run from 9 am – 4 pm with before and after care available for an additional fee. Book before March 31st for 10% off.
Joso’s Play and Learn Centre – Half-day or full-day camps for 3 – 6 year olds. Half-day camp is $175 for a 5 day week (less if you book before March 31 for Early Bird). Full-day camps are offered for a full month term and are different prices depending on how many days per week kids attend. See website for details.
Kayben Farms – Kayben Farms summer day camps include active play, interaction with animals, learning about growing things on the farm and more. Half-day ($135) and full-day ($250) camps are available for kids ages 5 – 12. Before and after camp care is available for an additional fee. Horsemanship camp is also available for two weeks in August for $300 per week.
Kyle Shewfelt Gymnastics – Hours of gymnastics fun as well as weekly themed crafts, activities, games, challenges and special guests. Summer camp registration starts on March 18th (there is no info on costs, etc there currently).
Mad Science Summer Camps – Summer camps are available for kids from Kindergarten through Grade 6. Half Day camps (either 9 am – 12 pm or 1-4 pm) are available from $155 – $175 while full-day camps (9 am – 4 pm) are $305 – $355. Pick from a variety of age ranges, themes, and locations across Calgary. Camps include highly researched, developed & tested on a yearly basis with structured lesson plans and hands-on group activities with daily take-home projects and a Mad Science T-Shirt. They also offer before and after care if needed (you have to pre-register)
Mount Royal University – Camps are available for kids from age 5 – 14. Their Sports and Adventure camps give your kids active play every day including an hour at the pool. Junior Youth Camps (age 9-14) do a deep dive for camp including Film School, Dynamic Gamers, Science Academy and more. Elementary Camps (ages 5-8) start at $340 for the week and include options like MRU Kids Club, Hip Hop, Music Makers, C.A.T.S. (Computers, Art, Theatre, Science) and more. Prices start at $340 for a full week camp running from 8:30 to 4:30. Complimentary before and after care is available from 7:30 to 5:30 for some programs.
My Gym – Summer camps run through the summer for kids 3 – 10 years old. Register before June 1 for 10% off. Each week is a different theme and you can mix and match when your kid will attend. Camps can be booked within 24 hours of the date, subject to availability.
Pegasus Gymnastics – Pegasus Gym offers Preschool (ages 3-5) half-day camps, Recreational half-day camps (ages 6+) and Recreational full-day camps (ages 6+). Half-day camps are $175 and full-day camps are $275. Before and after care can be added for $40 per week (8 am – 5 pm). Camps include gymnastics, games, crafts, and snack.
SAIT – SAIT camps are for kids grades 1 – 12 and help kids explore interests and future career options, learn new things and make connections. There are over 100 camps to choose from!
Soul Connexion – Soul Connexions offers half-day camps for kids 2 to 10+. Fees start at $199 for camps that run Monday through Friday. Different themes are offered on different weeks and range from dance to yoga to arts or science.
Storybook Theatre – Storybook Theatre offers one-week sessions for ages 6 – 16 for $250. Not all weeks are available at all locations (check website). The 5 days of camp will cover warm-ups ups, voice, music, movement, storytelling, technical theatre, and collaboration. Each camp will be facilitated by a trained theatre professional. A small production to be presented at the end of the week.
Telus Spark – Telus Spark offers camps for kids from ages 5 – 12. Prices start at $290 for a full week camp. Themes include Jurrasic Spark, Earth and Space, Sporting Science and more. Includes admission to Dome theatre show.
YMCA – YMCA Calgary offers a plethora of summer camp options indoors in Calgary, outdoors in Calgary and outside of Calgary outdoor camps. They also offer overnight options as well.
The University of Calgary – The University of Calgary offers an ENORMOUS amount of summer day camps covering every age group and more themes than you can even dream of. Camp prices run from the mid $200s to the mid $400s depending on the topic. Before and after care is provided for almost all of their camps as well making it great for working families. Examples include GeoVenture, Learn to Skate, Girls Technology, Natural Sciences, MediCamp, Mini Black Belts, Sports Camps and more.
Vivo – Camps are offered for kids from ages 3 – 12 for half days or full days. Pricing starts at $110 for half-days and $220 for full-days. Get back to basics this summer and play! All Campers will go swimming, climbing, play outdoors and in, flex leadership muscles, and make new friends.
Wymbin Yoga – Full-day camps are open to ages 5 – 10 and are $250 for a 5-day camp week. Themes change weekly (see website).
YouthLink Calgary – Camps offered for kids 6 – 9 or 9-12. Both are full-day, Monday – Friday camps for $289 per person. Camps include exclusive tours of CPS Speciality Units, fun team-building challenges, outdoor games, and sports and real police skills training.
