The First Day of Our RV Adventure #DraggingMissDaisy

Today we hit the road on our grand RV adventure to the US. We started off at the lake to pack the trailer (which was good because I figured out what all I had forgotten in Calgary…like my passport). Then we drove to Calgary to drop off Dewey and retrieve my passport. Finally, we hit the road to Milk River , Alberta where we are staying the night.

Thankfully, my first set up was easy peasy since I got a pull through spot. Once we were all settled, Evan made us ramen for dinner. Not exactly gourmet but yummy nonetheless.

Now it is time to brush our teeth and head to bed because we are heading to Writing On Stone Provincial Park in the morning before heading across the border.

I am extremely thankful that we had a pretty uneventful first day. Doing all the things without breaking anything makes me happy and gives me the confidence that I can DO this. Thank you to everyone who has sent us well wishes on our journey.
