Instructions for the Best Crab Dip!
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a small bowl, mix the shredded cheddar and the shredded pepper jack cheeses together.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
4. Add in the Old Bay, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, creole seasoning and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and the spices are well dispersed.
5. Add in 6 ounce of the cheddar/pepper jack cheese mixture. Mix well. Set aside 2 ounces of cheese for the top of your crab dip.

8. Gently fold in the crab meat to your mixture. Do not over mix! Leave chunks of crab meat in the dip.
9. Transfer to your baking dish and smooth down the top. Sprinkle with your remaining shredded cheese mixture and then dust with the remaining Old Bay and paprika.
10. Place in your preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until brown and bubbly.

Notes
Salt is not needed in this recipe due to the crab meat’s naturally salty flavor.
The ground mustard will help bring out the saltiness as well and the sugar balances the flavors.
If you prefer a spicy dip, increase the amount of creole seasoning.
Changing any of the cheeses, cream cheese, sour cream or mayo to a low fat will absolutely alter the end result. Don't do it.
