Merry & Evan’s Mystery Milkshake Experiment

Merry & Evan’s Mystery Milkshake Experiment

Evan wants to be a YouTube sensation when he grows up. Give him his iPad and he will spend all his time watching EvanTubeHD, The Diamond Minecart and others. He watches them play video games, do “challenges” and just sit and talk into the camera. He asks me to start him a YouTube channel incessantly.

Today I broke down and let him talk me into doing a Mystery Milkshake Experiment. We had to change the name because the “Smoothie Challenge” he had me watch included things like onions, pickles, V8 juice and other yucky things I do NOT want to actually have to blend together and ingest. *barf* Instead we chose yummy ingredients that you might not consider mixing together in a milkshake. They included chocolate chips, shredded coconut, marshmallow fluff, mini oreos, Reese spread, chocolate hazelnut spread. I started with a base of chocolate ice cream and he had vanilla ice cream.

When you watch the video, you will see that my grand plans of using the immersion blender in a glass did not work out *quite* as I had hoped. Overall we had a great time and Evan got tons of hearts on Periscope so I have probably created a monster.

What do you think we should do as our next video? Make sure and follow us on Periscope and YouTube. I will be including his videos in with mine for the time being. I’m still not sure I am ok giving him his own account.

I'm giggling at the idea of you creating a little Periscope monster. Your Milkshake Mystery challenge is much more my speed. I wouldn't be in to trying V8, pickles and hot sauce either. Bleck.
