Mini egg Rice Krispie squares are what it’s all about today. I always get excited at Easter Candy time. From chocolate to caramel and everything in between, I get way more excited than I should about Easter candy.
There are two things that I love above all else when Easter rolls around – Cadbury Creme eggs and Cadbury Mini Eggs. Now, you can score Cadbury Creme Eggs year-round, but their Mini Eggs are another story. This brings me to my next point.

Mini Eggs are in stores again! Yaaay! Mini Eggs are pretty amazing by themselves, but there is an EVEN BETTER way to eat them.
That’s right. PUT THEM IN RICE KRISPIE SQUARES (or if you need more chocolate Mini Egg Brownies). They work so well in the classic dessert, you guys. Rice Krispie Squares are delicious on their own, but when you add in Mini Eggs. Well, it’s an entirely different level. Those little milk chocolate eggs wrapped in their colorful candy shells add both extra sweetness AND a super cute Easter look.
I am basically an evil genius. If you need me, I’ll be in my cave shaped like a skull on the side of a volcano eating ALL THE MINI EGGS! Bwahahahahahaha.
It’s a good thing my family has such an evil genius for a mom and wife because they can’t get enough of these mini egg Rice Krispie squares. They – and I, frankly – love how delicious they are. However, what I love maybe a touch more is how easy they are to make.

These super fun, super cute treats are the perfect Easter treat for everyone from the young to the old. Everyone loves them, and when you set out a batch at your Easter get-together or potluck, they’ll definitely be the star of the show.
What Ingredients Do I Need to Make Mini Egg Rice Krispie Squares?
Be sure to gather the following ingredients so that you can make your very own Rice Krispie Sqaures with Mini Egg candies:
- 10 oz Mini Eggs, or as many as you want. More is better.
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 250 grams Marshmallows
- 1/4 cup butter, (put that margarine DOWN..don’t do it)
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

What are the Steps to Making Mini Egg Rice Krispie Squares?
The steps are easy to make these sweet treats. Take a look how:
Use a big pan to melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and melt those too. Stir the sticky horrible mess until it’s not lumpy.

Remove from heat. QUICKLY before the marshmallows solidify into one giant hell marshmallow, stir in vanilla, cereal, and Mini Eggs. Question why you don’t do more arm exercises because should it really be that hard to stir?

Press into a buttered pan with a buttered spatula. Add a few more Mini Eggs on top because life is short.

Your kids will now start clawing at you like ravenous wolverines. Hold them off with the buttered spatula until the squares have cooled. Throw extra mini eggs into the living room to give you extra time.

Storing Mini Egg Rice Krispie Squares
These delicious treats will stay soft and delicious for about two days in an air-tight container. To ensure that they stay as soft and tasty as possible, I recommend wrapping them in plastic wrap individually. For longer storage, you can freeze these treats in an air-tight, freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag for a couple of months.
