What Size Jars Should I Use For This No-Bake Peppermint Cheesecake?
Mason jars come in a variety of sizes and some notable ones include 4, 8, 16, 28 and 32 oz.
As listed in our recipe instructions below, the larger the jar, the more crust should be added to the recipe. We used two types of jars: some that were 4 oz in size, and others that were 8 oz in size. If you go for a larger size, like the 16 oz, you will want to add an extra layer of cookie crumbs at the halfway mark of your jar.
Are There Ingredient Alternatives For This Peppermint Cheesecake?
Yes, absolutely! For the crust, you can also use vanilla cookies, Biscoff cookies, chocolate cookies or crushed graham crackers as a base.
How Do I Crush The Cookies For The Crust?
You can either use a rolling pin or a food processor to turn your cookies into crumbs.
When using the rolling pin method, place the cookies in a zip freezer bag and crush with your rolling pin.

How to Make No-Bake Peppermint Cheesecake Jars
Okay, folks: the moment you’ve been waiting for! Here is my surefire recipe for the tastiest No-Bake Peppermint Cheesecake Jars!
Begin by making the crust: open each sandwich cookie and remove the filling and set aside (you will use them so stop eating them!). Crush cookies by beating with rolling pin or blitz in a food processor. Add to a bowl along with melted butter. Mix together and set aside.
For the cheesecake filling, begin by beating cream cheese, cookie filling and vanilla until smooth.
Next, add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated with one another.
Fold in half of the container of Cool Whip.
Once combined, add the remaining Cool Whip and fold. Next, add the crushed peppermint. Fold until the streaks are gone.
Place the filling in the fridge for approximately 15-20 minutes. This will allow the filling to firm slightly. Taste it…we know you want to!
Add the cookie crumb crust mixture to the bottom of each mason jar.
Scoop the filling into a piping bag and pipe it into the mason jar, right on top of the cookie crust.
For larger jars, add cookie crumble half way and then top with more filling.
Refrigerate until you are ready to serve and enjoy! You can serve as is or garnish with mini candy canes!
