Parties in Calgary for Young Foodies

Parties in Calgary for Young Foodies

I love parties that centre around cooking or baking. I want my kids to learn these skills as soon as possible and start feeding me, instead of the other way around. Luckily, we have lots of options in Calgary for kids who love to cook or bake!

Crave Cookies and Cupcakes

If your child has a sweet tooth, Crave is the place to go. They have a beautiful party room where Crave staff do crafts and a photobooth with the kids. Each child gets to ice and decorate two cupcakes. They also provide snacks, drinks, loot bags, AND a cake. Then the kids all get a VIP tour of the kitchen!

Jelly Modern Doughnuts

If you haven’t eaten a doughnut from Jelly Modern, you are missing out. They are GOOD. During birthday parties at Jelly Modern Doughnuts, a staff member leads the kids in doughnut-decorating, crafts and games. You also get printable invitations, a pre-decorated party room, food, loot bags, and a doughnut cake.

You can read more about birthday parties at Jelly Modern Doughnuts on their website!

President’s Choice Cooking School

President’s Choice Cooking School offers birthday parties for kids (4 – 10) and teens (11 – 16). There are a ton of themes to choose from, including Pizza Party, Tapas for Teens, Greek Vacation, Festa Italiana, Taste of Thai, and Hockey Party.

The parties include a cooking lesson and birthday cake and candles. Details vary according to the theme you pick, but some of the teen parties include a mocktail bar! You can check out all the details on the PC Cooking School website.

ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen

Birthday parties at ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen are for kids aged 8 – 14. They include cooking time in the kitchen, and gift-opening time in the lounge. There are four themes to choose from: Pizza Party, Pasta Extravaganza, High Tea Time, and Mexican Fiesta. You can also add options such as kid-size aprons, culinary-themed loot bags, and cupcake kits.
