Can I Freeze Leftover Pulled Pork?

Absolutely! I have come to notice that most slow cooker meals are made in large batches – so I try to make meals that I can freeze and reheat. Wasting food is a big no-no in our household.

When freezing, be sure to store your Sweet and Spicy Pulled Pork in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn.

How to Reheat Leftover Pulled Pork

Reheating pulled pork can be a bit of a challenge – you don’t want to dry it out, but you also don’t want to leave it cold. The best way to reheat pulled pork is in the oven. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and place the pork in an oven-safe dish. Add a bit of water or chicken broth to the dish, cover it with foil, and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the pork is heated through.

If you’re short on time, you can also reheat pulled pork in the microwave. Just place the pork in a microwavable dish with a bit of water or chicken broth and heat on high for 2-3 minutes, or until heated through. However, be sure to watch it closely so that it doesn’t dry out.
