Yep….I’ve seen all those things in the last two days. Yesterday we decided to go see the sights and we ended up at the Tupelo Buffalo Park. It seemed like a great idea until we arrived & there was no shade AND it was 94 degrees. Evan was looking quite melty by the end (and so were the rest of us!). I felt a bit bad for some of the animals because they were looking melty too but it was very cool to get to see zebras, buffalo, camels, giraffes, etc up close.
Giraffe up close and personal.
Feeding pony #3…right before it bit Evan’s little finger. He was TRAUMATIZED! There was much screaming and crying & sobbing of “It will hurt for-ev-er~!”
On the bus for the tour of the park. He is sweaty, bitten & ready for a nap!
One of the buffalo…he was giving us the stink eye.

Later, we drove to Tuscaloosa to visit my Aunt Anne and my cousin, April (aka Gulf Coast Living). It was great to catch up with her & her little girl “Little Miss”.
Evan and Little Miss eating at the kids table. They were a great influence on one another as both ate almost all their food!
“Flying” with magnolia leaves in the back yard….
April, Little Miss, Me and Evan (notice the sour puss face on Evan….he was DONE)
Hiding from family photos….
After all the animals and family adventures….Evan is one tired little boy!
