After weeks of preparation, today marked Twestival celebrations around the world. “What is Twestival?” you ask. Twestival is a twitter festival focused on raising money for charity. You can learn more here. Here in Calgary we were raising money for Making Changes Calgary. It’s an awesome organization that supports women who are trying to rejoin the work force. As of 3pm we had raised over $4000 and we sold clothing from espy experience and sold tickets at the door so it will be even higher come morning. We also had well over 100 people in attendance. Over all it was an AMAZING event and I was so happy to be a part of the organizing committee! Thank you to everyone on the committee, all our sponsors and everyone who attended/bought a ticket!
