I’m very excited to tell you that this month I was offered the opportunity to become a Burnbrae Farms Ambassador. Support a Canadian, family-run farm egg brand? Yes, please!

Over the last few years, I have become more and more interested in learning where my food comes from. With discussions about opening trade routes that include food to other countries, it is becoming even more important to me to know “Where does this food come from?”.

Burnbrae has been a family run egg producer for over 120 years. Today they deliver eggs across Canada through farm families across the country. It’s a great Canadian story that brings fresh eggs right across the country.

Comfort You Crave

So what does that mean for you, my reader? Well, I will be sharing yummy recipes featuring Burnbrae Farms eggs each month. This month, Burnbrae Farms has partnered with Kraft Canada to bring you easy breakfast comfort food recipes.

One that really struck my fancy was, Baked Eggs in Avocado with Cheese Toasts. I’ve never made baked eggs so I was intrigued. Unfortunately I didn’t have avocados in the house so it decided to try baked eggs on my own. Wow! I loved them. Now avocados are on my list and I can’t wait to try them this way too.

Our kids love what they love for breakfast…eggs, bacon and toast or pancakes. They are completely happy to eat the same thing until the end of time. Thankfully, we often have visitors to the cottage so I can try out fun brunch recipes on them. One of the Comfort You Crave Recipes that will definitely be on tap is Sausage, Egg and Cheese Stuffed Baguette. I love bringing crusty bread, eggs, sausage and cheese together for a delicious savoury breakfast dish.

I've Become A Burnbrae Farms Ambassador - Follow for Great Egg Recipes

Next month, we’ll be talking about COOKIES! I can’t wait. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for a great coupon on Burnbrae Farms eggs for a discount when you buy participating Kraft and Burnbrae Farms products.

So tell me, what are your favorite ways to eat eggs?

Disclosure: I am participating in the Burnbrae Farms campaign managed by SJ Consulting. I received compensation in exchange for my participation in this campaign. The opinions on this blog are my own.
