Strawberry Mojito Mocktail

This mojito mocktail is a fun way to elevate your regular can of 7Up or Sprite. Plus, it’s really easy to whip-up, requiring only four ingredients.

I can never say no to a good mocktail! On hot days, I love to refresh with tasty beverages that are not necessarily alcoholic. This is why I’ve been so keen on making mocktails lately. This Strawberry Mojito Mocktail really hits the spot. (Psst: did you remember to take a look at my Strawberry Daiquiri Mocktail that I recently made?)

What is a Mojito?

A mojito is a bubbly white rum cocktail that is both sweet and tart. It owes a lot of its tastiness to the addition of sugar and mint, crushed together in a mortar and pestle to release its mouthwatering flavor profile.

What is a Mocktail?

A mocktail is a drink that mimics a classic cocktail, using all of its base ingredients, but leaving out the alcoholic component. This makes it perfect to serve at family gatherings, because everyone can enjoy them!

Adding a Kick of Flavor

I decided to add a extra flavor to my mojito mocktail by incorporating some fresh strawberries in the recipe. In my household, we refer to this drink as a strawberry mint mocktail! Strawberries are the epitome of the summer season, so I’m always inclined to include them in my summer recipes. Farmer’s market or local strawberries are always much tastier than their supermarket counterparts but you can feel free to use any you have on hand…even frozen!
