When it comes to cooling down in the summer, I’m all about a good drink: whether it’s a full-on adult beverage or a simple mocktail.

In my opinion, the best part about mocktails is that everyone in your household can enjoy it! Kids really like being a part of the fun, and that includes having the same thing the grown-ups are enjoying. This Strawberry Daiquiri is the perfect solution!

What is a Mocktail?

A mocktail is a play on words with “cocktail” and “mock,” since it replicates classic cocktail drinks. The reason it “mocks” a drink is because it has all of the ingredients of a particular cocktail except for the alcohol.

This strawberry daiquiri mocktail is absolutely refreshing, especially on hot summer days. Plus, since it's alcohol free, it's a delicious beverage that everyone can enjoy!

Just like cocktails, mocktails can be made with all sorts of ingredients including juices, sodas, syrups, and various herbs. Don’t forget to try out our Strawberry Mojito Mocktail as well!

What is a Strawberry Daiquiri?

A daiquiri is a blended drink that consists of mainly strawberries, ice, and citrus juice. In a classic daiquiri cocktail, you would add a generous amount of rum. Of course, for our rendition, it involves all the traditional ingredients except for the alcohol.

What is the Difference Between a Daiquiri and Margarita?

As mentioned prior, a daiquiri uses rum in a strawberry, ice, and citrus blend. The base of a margarita is very similar, and a big difference is that classic margaritas use tequila as its alcoholic component while daiquiris use rum.
