Jokes aside, the tortellini has to be cooled down completely before storing in the fridge/freezer. Once it’s cooled down, transfer it to an airtight container. It can be store in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days, and the freezer for up to 3 months.

To reheat from the fridge, warm it in a 350 degree oven until heated through. If reheating it from frozen, then thaw it out in the refrigerator over night, and then bake in the oven.

How to Make Baked Tortellini with Sausage

Begin by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F.

Heat butter and EVOO in a skillet over medium. Cook diced bell pepper and onion until fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. Add sausage slices and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.

Add tortellini to a rectangular pan and cover with marinara sauce. Top off with cheese and mix everything together.

Top off with pepper and sausage mixture.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
