Eggs are the best breakfast food. Heck, they might even just be the best food period. My family eats a LOT of eggs. Sometimes, we forget to think about where those eggs come from. To say a little thank you to the Egg Farmers of Canada that make sure we get fresh and delicious eggs to enjoy. I’m going to tell you a bit about a cool event I got to attend earlier this summer with Egg Farmers of Canada and then I’m going to give you some easy egg recipes to enjoy with your family!
Egg Farmers of Canada decided to get up early (hey…they are used to it) and visit cities across Canada to share some #WakeUpToYellow love. In Calgary, the set up on Stephen Avenue Mall. It is quite the hub of foot traffic in the mornings! They handed out breakfast, fun yellow utensils and flowers to Canadians on their way to work to remind them that eggs for breakfast ROCK.
It was fun to see all the different people who make Calgary great enjoying breakfast together. It was quite the party atmosphere. Who knew a free egg sandwich could totally make someone’s day!
Everyone had so much fun that they made a video to commemorate the occasion. Have a watch and see if you recognize YOUR city (I do!).
